I purchased this dresser to make my bedroom feel more spacious. The price gave me pause because I thought it might look too cheap. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try! Able to assemble instantly without any frustration. The top is made of wooden material and the drawers are also made of wood cloth. Very sturdy and the drawers are deep - each drawer can easily hold at least 4 large sweaters. I think this would be a perfect purchase for a student apartment, anyone living in a small apartment or house, a guest room, or even to add drawer space in a closet.
