Before first use, lay the mattress flat in a well-ventilated area for 48-72 hours until it is fully expanded (do not expose it to sunlight). If it has not yet finished expanding, use a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer to make it expand; during this time you can dab the foam with your hands (without getting too hot or applying too much pressure).

The inner foam is not washable, but the cover can be removed for cleaning. The package only contains a mattress topper and a topper cover. Keep it out of sunlight when you don't need to use it.
